Grief is lightly tapping at the door
Very soon it will barge in, uninvited.
If there is anything assured in this world,
It is the beginning of life
And the inevitability of that beautiful life
Coming to an end
The temptation is strong to fight
Clinging to what was
The greatest gift we can offer
is peace
Peace to those suffering
Peace to those who are losing someone exquisitely precious
Divinely surrounded by comfort and light.
